Founded in 2020 by Hans Franke in Rotterdam, RAW Idea BV has grown from a startup experimenting with both small and large objects, print techniques, and R&D into a thriving company with a team of over 10 passionate individuals. Under the leadership of our director, Joyce Pont, we have gained national and international interest for our innovative approach to large-scale additive manufacturing through 3D printing.

Our main focus today is on producing luxury sloops for our subsidiary Tanaruz Boats, but our capabilities extend far beyond that. At RAW Idea, we specialize in printing boats, furniture, musical instruments, and are constantly exploring new projects like tiny houses and more. We have expanded beyond Rotterdam with multiple locations, including one in Arnhem.
