After two years on the water, Tanaruz is refining the design, outfitting and experience of its next generation of boats.
As each generation of Tanaruz boats is refined with more efficient hull designs and improved engineering, the experience on board needs to evolve with it.
We are no longer building an MVP or proof of concept. We are building boats designed to belong on the water: boats that people can use, enjoy and return to season after season.
Our boats have now been on the water for two years, giving us something that cannot be designed on paper: real experience. We have been taking notes, observing how the boats perform and, just as importantly, how people experience them.
Looking beyond the hull
A boat is more than its hull and propulsion system. The details inside and around it shape how the boat feels once you are on the water.
With the next boating season in mind, we have started meeting with different boat outfitting companies to explore how we can further refine the Tanaruz experience.
The aim is to look closely at the details that turn a functional boat into a finished product. Materials, finishes, seating, colours and other elements of the interior all contribute to the way a boat is experienced.
For us, these details need to do more than look good. They need to perform on the water, withstand regular use and remain consistent with the standards we set for Tanaruz.
Building for the next season
This next phase is about refinement.
The hull design continues to evolve, but so does everything around it. We are looking for the right partners to help us develop an interior and outfitting approach that feels considered, distinctive and built to last.
Future-proofing is an important part of that process. The choices we make now should not only work for the next boating season, but also establish a foundation for future generations of Tanaruz boats.
